The Oahu Island News is a free island-wide newspaper. The printed edition is on haitus as we redevelop the property more in line with current island needs. Past issues will remain available online. Only calendars and some community annoucements will be avilable online during this period of transistion.

Contributions to the Oahu Island News are always welcome and can be faxed, mailed or e-mailed to the editor. All deadlines are approximately two weeks prior to publication. E-Mail submissions are preferred. Faxes are discouraged.

Articles and advertisements published in the Oahu Island News are the sole opinion of the writer or advertiser. They may not reflect the opinion or beliefs of the Publisher and the Oahu Island News.

The Oahu Island News is a member of several Chambers of Commerce in Hawaii, the state Hawaii Publishers Association and the national Association of Free Community Papers. In 2005, it received Third Place for General Excellence for a Non-daily Newspaper in the state-wide Pi`A competition sponsored by the Hawaii Publishers Association.
